2026 is the year everyone is becoming aware of the innovations happening in computer science over the last several decades. Most Americans are using AI in the form of LLM's regularly, some without even knowing it. What is this technology? Why does it matter? How de we locate ourselves as people of faith in the midst of this incredible and scary time in history.
Julie Barrios, founder of Nuos Formation, will be answering some of these questions and opening up even bigger questions we all must wrestle with. Having served as a spiritual director in San Francisco, Julie has been immersed in the culture in which this technology is emerging. As a regular attendee of Anthropics faith convening, Julie has wrestled the research and other faith leaders across traditions, all seeking to discern what is invited of us at such a time as this.
