About
When we lose someone we love, it's normal to experience a myriad of feelings: confusion, guilt, relief, motivation, anguish, depression, peace and anger to name a few. This often creates a complex internal experience that can be difficult to navigate alone. This can be further amplified by cultural and individual expectations around the length and expression of these emotions, not to mention a general lack of people knowing how to be with those who have lost someone.
You may notice that there’s more in you needing to come out, needing a container, but you feel unsure where that could be.
Having space to freely unpack your experience alongside others who have journeyed this road with a skilled facilitator can:
- Provide a much needed container
- Normalize your experience
- Help metabolize your experience
- Offer companionship
- Clarify what self-care looks like for you
- Support you in identifying a new normal
- Cultivate gratitude and hope
Through the course of this 6-week Grief Group we will explore:
- Telling your story
- Recognizing feelings
- Naming losses
- Reorganization of family and life rhythms
- Guilt
- Self-care
- Legacy
- Invitations
- And anything else that organically arises and we have space for…

Facilitator
Jessica Lacy has been helping people enter their hearts for over 10 years as a coach and more recently as a spiritual director. When her mom passed quickly from stage four pancreatic cancer in 2021, she was debilitated. Figuring out what to do with everything that she felt inside and how her life was affected took time and good support. In light of both the helpful (and not so helpful) support she received, she has become passionate about offering a space that helps others feel understood, have permission to have their own process, and transition into hope.
